2014 kick-started with many rumours flooding the blogosphere and a majority of them relates to GTA 5 for the PC. The hype had led PC gamers to believe that their version for GTA 5 will be arriving in March next month. However, those hopes are about to face a delay.
Like many other online retailer who has been listing PC GTA 5 on their respective sites, Czech retailer, SuperGamer.cz followed the trend. Instead of the similar dates with other retailers, SuperGamer placed the date of release on the 13th of June.
However, it is still unsure if it is for real. Judging from the ad on the website, the GTA 5 cover looks like a hoax. Right at the top of the poster, there is a caption that reads, “For Windows Live”. Windows Live is something that has been discarded by Microsoft. SuperGamer must be kicking themselves for making such an error.
Nevertheless, a PC GTA 5 is definitely on its way. Just a month ago, gameplay footage of what was believed to be about the game got uploaded to YouTube. Just when it was about to accumulate the millions of view counts, YouTube removed the video due to copyright infringement. It was believed that TakeTwo personally request for the video to be taken down.
If you’re a PC gamer, you don’t have to worry as that petition you signed to make Rockstar release a PC GTA 5 is definitely going to come through in a matter of months to come.
