Ever since GTA 5 arrived on the PC, players have been quick in modding the game so that they can introduce many new and creative ideas into the title. However, most PC gamers were shaken yesterday when one of them discovered a clause which suggests that modders will be banned.
Thankfully though, Rockstar came out earlier today to address the matter and it came to the relief of the PC gamers when the game developer claims that it is nothing to worry about.
Rockstar claims that the policy didn’t change from GTA 4. As long as the players keep the modding to single player mode, nobody is going to get banned at all. Rockstar also teased that they really support modding as it allows players to express their creativity.
Rockstar concluded by claiming that there is no way for them to allow mods in GTA 5’s online mode as they have to be fair to the players that don’t mod. This might upset the majority of the PC players but they are still thankful that the ban scare is over.
