Rockstar is asking online players to become game developers! The company announced the advent of a content creator that would let players make up their own missions and give them to the public.
The tools are already out, and they’re the ones the company itself uses to make mini missions in GTA Online. Gamers were recently able to get a better look at this feature after screenshots appeared in GTAForums.
One image showed that gamers can swap between player v player and co-op modes. There’s also the capacity to make teams and to fix the number of lives. There’s a concern over RP points, as the creator tool can spoil the game if it’s used just to garner RP.
This concern aside, it’s an amazing addition to an already awesome game. The screenshots make it look like this creator tool will open up lots of possibilities – including heists!
Gamers can choose the location, mission types, mission objectives, SMS and lots more. There are going to be lots and lots of amazing fan-made missions from now on, and we can’t wait.
