The Heist DLC for GTA 5’s multiplayer mode has long been the buzz in the gaming industry. Rumours have been hinting that the upcoming 1.17 update for GTA Online will finally allow players to rob banks with their friends.
The latest hint on this is with the leaked source codes from Xbox Live. Apparently, a hacker has been snooping inside the Xbox Live and discovered that a Test DLC was taking place when Rockstar temporarily disconnect its cloud services back in September 19.
While no specifics were revealed, the Test DLC is heavily linked to the Heist DLC which players have been waiting for. After all, Rockstar has never disconnected its servers for the sake of a Test DLC which hints on it being something huge.
This also compliments earlier leaked information where a Leaderboard feature will be coming to GTA Online. While it may still be some mere speculation and prediction, the leaker is confident enough to suggest that the Heist DLC will be coming in a week from now.
Then again, there has yet to be any official word from Rockstar on the matter. Thus, it is best to take it with a pinch of salt. The Heist DLC will be the biggest update to GTA Online and Rockstar will surely throw a launch party when the DLC is released.
