For almost a year now, GTA 5 players on the Xbox 360 and PS3 has been waiting for the heist feature to come into the game’s multiplayer mode, GTA Online. Well, this may look to happen very soon after Rockstar drop the biggest hint yesterday.
During the game developer’s conference on GTA 5 for the next-gen console, Rockstar teased that they will be releasing a new gameplay mode to every platform soon.
Obviously, the gameplay mode Rockstar is referring to is the highly anticipated heist feature. Also, when Rockstar mentioned all platforms, it simply implies that the Heist DLC will only be released after GTA 5 makes its debut on the Xbox One and PS4.
Speaking of which, the conference revealed that GTA 5 for the next-generation consoles will come with an added first-person feature. Rockstar revealed that throughout its development, they have been recalculating animations and the timings of things to offer the ultimate first-person experience. Once GTA 5 gets released on the Xbox One and PS4, it will mark the series’ first-time to offer first-person view.
In addition to that, Rockstar has rebalanced the stats of the characters in GTA 5 and also injected in avatar customization which includes tweaks for the lips and cheekbone.
