Back when GTA 5 Online went live, the players became loud in demanding for the heist missions to get added in the multiplayer mode. After all, it is the heist missions from GTA 5’s story mode that made the latest sequel more engaging and unique than previous GTA titles.
On the downside of things, Rockstar is still pending to launch the Heist DLC for GTA 5 today. However, the game developer did reveal that the Heist DLC will mark the end of support for GTA 5 on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
In detail, Rockstar claims that both older-gen consoles are reaching their hardware limitations and there is no way for GTA 5 to enjoy more content update as a result. Even so, Rockstar assured the players that they will conclude support for GTA 5 with the Heist DLC.
While Rockstar has yet to indicate on when that may happen, there is no doubt that the support will look to end in mid this year. In conjunction to that, players can look forward to receiving the Heist DLC then.
