You can grind for hours in GTA Online and earn so much GTA Dollars but that carries no value when in the real world. On the other hand, 17-year-old student Fred Pye knows how to make real money with the 2013 game of the year.
The gamer is apparently earning UK$24k a year just by posting YouTube walkthroughs for the game. Fred has been rather popular with his instructional video on completing missions, finding Easter eggs and even performing stunts.
With more than 25 million views, Fred is earning UK$2000 a month from ads. Who knew that playing games can be so rewarding?
Even his YouTube account, which goes by the name of NoughtPointFourLive has gathered 138,000 subscribers. Most of the viewers and subscribers are for GTA 5. Fred revealed that he first started more than two-years ago by uploading Call of Duty games.
The release of GTA 5 has been amazing as it offers a game like no other. As such, Fred has been doing the community a service by discovering things and guiding new players on how to survive GTA 5.
Fred then joked that his parents are very supportive of his works even though a video will require 3 hours to create. Nevertheless, as long as the effort pays off and his homeworks are done, then there is no problem for the A level student.
