The issue is known to affect players on both the Xbox 360 and PS3 console. Many who are affected went on a public discussion to see how big the issue is and amazingly, almost everyone experienced the issue.
One player even pointed out that his Xbox 360 claims that there is an error connecting to Rockstar services. Many players on the Xbox 360 shared the same message prompt. As such, it is safe to assume that the issue isn’t with the consoles, but it is with GTA Online’s servers instead.
It is unsure if the server crashed or experiencing some extraordinary traffic as there is no announcement by Rockstar. Many players are not frustrated with the issue as they suspect that it could be the game developer, tweaking the servers for the highly anticipated High Life update.
Just last week, Rockstar puts the GTA community on overdrive after announcing the High Life DLC to come soon on its Twitter account. By soon, many fans assumed it to be Tuesday. That day will be today and it won’t be long until we found out if the issue is really the High Life DLC’s coming.
