The online version of the latest installment of the GTA game series, GTA 5’s GTA Online had went live on the 1st of October. For those who are still new to the game, here is what you need to know;
• Players are able to wander freely around the large map.
• When the GTA Online went live for the first time, it said that the game supports up to 16 players in each game. However, there is good chance that the number might add up.
• GTA Online has a reputation system. Reputation will unlock new missions and weapons. To increase reputation, players can complete jobs, watch movies, shooting, robbing and armored truck, robbing a store or even take out a gang
• Heists will be added later on.
• The Heists update would be free.
• You won’t be able to transfer money from the GTA 5 to the GTA Online and vice versa since the economy there are different.
• It is possible to earn more money in GTA Online.
• Micro transactions are available. Players can purchase things using real money but it is not compulsory.
• You can take part in sporting events such as golf and tennis.
When the GTA Online was first launched, Rockstar cloud server could not accommodate the number of gamers who tried to enter the game. It resulted to connection and stability issues on the game. Rockstar did expect the problem and had hinted to the gamers that there will be some problem with the GTA Online game upon launch. However, Rockstar is working around the clock to solve these problems and even had pushed out some updates to slowly solve the problem.
