Range Rover have been offered with a hybrid engine option for some time now while Jeep is only starting to get their toes wet. Do you think the Range Rover should be afraid?
According to Mike Manly, Jeep’s Brand Chief, it would make sense to offer the Jeep Grand Wagoneer with a hybrid engine when the vehicle is finally ready to hit the showrooms.
The upcoming Jeep Grand Wagoneer should be arriving in 2018 or 2019 and it is estimated that we then will be seeing a whole lot more EV powered models which is why Jeep is looking to offer a hybrid version of their Grand Wagoneer as well.
If Jeep does decide to offer the Grand Wagoneer with a hybrid engine, the vehicle will be competing with models like the Range Rover Hybrid, a model that has been offering a hybrid option for some time now.
Besides the hybrid engine, the Grand Wagoneer should also be coming with a Hemi V8 engine option.
