It looks like Google is getting tired of walking around the issue and has decided to finally take the bull by its horn and challenge Apple on a more even ground.
The one thing that has been separating Google and their Android and Apple and the iOS are the amounts of control given by each company. Google’s method is a partnership where they work on the software while the other smartphone manufacturer comes out with a hardware of their choice.
Apple, on the other hand, take controls of both software and hardware and while they have been getting a lot of heat because of that, there is no denying that the method seems to be working for them.
New reports now suggest that Google is looking to introduce a new program that will turn their current partners into contract labor where the smartphone manufacturers will only be manufacturing the device but there will be no logo or detail to separate the devices from the each other.
There is no saying how the Android users and the manufacturers will react to the new change. What do you think?
