Google Rubbished Rumours Suggesting Nexus 6 To Be Cheap!

The Nexus 6 has just been unveiled and it is one of the most anticipated smartphones at the moment. The rumours were right in claiming that the Nexus 6 to be arriving this year with a whole bag of tech goodies.

However, the rumours failed to indicate that the Nexus 6 isn’t going to be cheap like the Nexus 5 was. Google announced that the Nexus 6 is going to be priced at $199 with a two-year contract. This is much cheaper than the $350 price tag for the unlocked Nexus 5.

On the other hand, the cheap price of the Nexus 6 is going to force consumers into committing on a contract from a carrier. After all, the small fee offered is the subsidized fee.

Google then justified the pricing by claiming that the Nexus 6 is still worth the splurge. It is built with premium materials and offers a large display. Google’s chief, Sandeep Waraich, revealed that the Nexus smartphone changes every year on a random theme. The lad highlighted that last year was all about value and this year item is all about luxury.

On the down side of things, Google failed to highlight on the full unlocked price for the Nexus 6. However, we still expect it to be cheaper than the recently released iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4. After all, both rivals are available for at least $300 with a contract.
