The battery numbers are out for the new Google Pixel XL. So how will it fare will compared with some of the other top smartphones of the year?
The Google Pixel XL will be coming in with a 3450mAh battery. Based on the latest test result, it looks like the Google Pixel XL managed to last about 7 hours and 19moniures in its screen-on time test. That is about the same time that the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is able to provide with their 3600mAh battery. IF we also take into consideration the charging time of the Pixel XL and the S7 Edge, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge would have the upper hand here. The S7 Edge also comes with a convenient wireless charging system that is missing on the Pixel XL.
It might not sound like much but it is already better than the Nexus 60 and the LG V20 however, there is still some work to do if they plan to take on the Apple iPhone 7 Plus model. The new Apple iPhone 7 Plus will be offering about 9 hours and 5 minutes.
