One of the features that we liked on the Nexus smartphone was the double press to launch the camera features. Once you get used to it, you will realize how easy and convenient it is.
Some Android users are now saying that they wish the Double Press to launch camera feature would make it to the other non-Nexus Android devices as well but other says that it would not matter if it was carried over or not.
While it is convenient since you do not have to unlock the screen and tap on the app, many Nexus users also reported that the feature is pretty slow. Other added that the feature does not work for them all the time and that sometimes, the device does not save the pictures that they have taken.
Maybe if Google makes a few more changes to the features but right now, we are pretty satisfied with most of the Camera shortcuts that most of the Android smartphones offers.
