The Nexus devices are about to see a brand new device being added to its line-up but it isn’t going to be the highly anticipated Nexus 10 2. Instead, Google, in conjunction with HTC, will be releasing a slightly smaller tablet called the Nexus 9.
Based on the HTC Volantis, the Nexus 9 will still be a large device all thanks to its 8.9” screen. We have seen some spy shots and assume that it is a mix-breed with the iPad Mini and Nexus 7 being the parent.
The Nexus 9 is white in colour with its back part carrying the Nexus name. Also, that is where the 8MP camera will be fitted to offer the ultimate photography experience.
Back to the display, the Nexus 9 will be producing 281ppi and it will be powered by the NVIDIA Logan 64-bit processor with 2GB RAM. This is accompanied with 16GB/32GB internal storage and stereo speakers on the front.
