Over at Reddit, user Shenye is giving away free Nexus 9 16GB tablets as a sign of gratitude for the help which the community offered to him in developing a new app. Now that the Android app is completed, he is giving away the Nexus 9 to lucky participants.
Prior to that, participants are requested to fill up their email address on a Google Docs form shared at the thread. The email will be used for the giveaway. One email is entitled to one Nexus 9. Multiple emails will be ignored.
Participants have to fill up their email by 5 November next week at 12pm UTC. There, Shenye will be randomly selecting the lucky emails that will receive the Nexus 9.The person will be contacted via email within 24 hours and there is a 48hours window for the winner to respond. Otherwise, the prize will be snowballed to other participants.
Reddit is a global networking website and there are bound to be winners from all over the world. Shenye revealed that he will absorb the shipping cost for the winners.
On the downside of things, Shenye failed to reveal on how many Nexus 9 units will be passed around. Regardless, this is a great open opportunity for Redditors to win something prior to the massive holiday period ahead.
