The Nexus line of smartphones and tablets are being linked to an end as Google is heavily rumoured to commence its Android Silver program. While there has yet to be any Nexus devices being announced this year, the leaks have been confirming that the HTC Nexus 8 will be next to arrive.
Today, another leak on the Nexus 8 has surfaced and it revealed the device’s prototype to be in India for testing purposes. The leak came in the form of a shipment record.
It stated there that on June 30 last week, the Nexus 8 Prototype tablet ‘similar to the Nexus (7)’ left the US for India. There are only 2 units involved and it carries a value of IRP32,968 for both test machines.
While there is no word on the specs, fans can assume that the Nexus 8 will be measuring at 8.9”. Under the hood, the Nexus 8 will be powered by the NVIDIA 64-bit Tegra K1 chipset with 2GB RAM, 16/32GB internal storage, an 8MP rear camera and a 3MP front shooter.
