The all-new Android 5.0 Lollipop is truly amazing as it comes with tons of new connectivity support while also offering many new functions and features. On the downside of things, the latest Lollipop does not cater well to older devices.
This is confirmed after Nexus 7 users complained on how the OS makes playing games or running heavy applications difficult. In detail, Nexus 7 users were not at all happy upon learning that the Lollipop caused their games and applications to lag.
Some users revealed that they overcome the issue by rooting the device before overclocking it. Then again, this is not quite healthy for the hardwares and processors powering the Nexus 7.
Performance has certainly suffered upon installing the Nexus 7 and it gets worse upon knowing that the tablet’s support from Google has expired. The only options left for the users is to get back Android 4.4 KitKat, wait for a Lollipop custom ROM or upgrade to a newer device.
