It is thought that towards the end of 2014 Google will launch some new hardware and at the same time they may launch the next version of Android. We have heard many rumours going around about them working on a Nexus 8 tablets, and of course people are expecting them to launch the Nexus 6 phone.
One of the many reasons why the Nexus branding is so popular is down to the fact that the price tag is low. Google have been able to offer handsets that come with low prices and which have specs that similar to other top end handsets costing a lot more. While there hasn’t been any need for Google to enter into the low to middle range of devices, this could change.
We have seen a report with the focus of everything Media-Tek and according to trusted insiders Google have a partnership with MediaTek to design a device with a price tag as low as $100.
The budget friendly Google Nexus could replace the flagship handset and it would be in competition with such as Xiaomi. Google could be feeling heat from Amazon as the retailer seemingly has their first phone close to being finished.
So if the rumours do prove to be true, and Google launches a cheap device, would you go out and buy one?
