We are reaching the end of first-quarter 2014 now and there is a growing anticipation for the upcoming Google Nexus 6. This next flagship smartphone from Google will be the last one coming to the Nexus line.
Hence, many concept designs have been created on the Nexus 6. One of them managed to get the attention of the world. This particular design revealed the Nexus 6 to feature a 5.2inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. That translates to a pixel density of a whopping 550p.
Similar to the Nexus 5, this successor will have that same IPS panel which will offer a vibrant display and perform well under direct sunlight.
As for the build, it will have an aluminium casing with some polycarbonate filling. The Nexus 6 will be really slim measuring at 7 to 8mm in thickness.
The device is expected to run on the next-gen Snapdragon SoC clocked at 2.3GHz with 3GB RAM. In addition to that, there will be that Adreno GPU for graphics. Aside from that, the Nexus 6 will be equipped with either a 13 or 21MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization that is capable of 4K video recording. Of course, the battery will have a bigger capacity amounting to 3000mAh.
The Nexus 6 is believed to be built by LG. Following the success of both Nexus 4 and 5, LG will be looking to end the Nexus line of smartphones with a bang. We are still early in the year and soon, we will definitely get more information on the Nexus 6.
