Last November, the world witnessed the arrival of the Google Nexus 5. The smartphone was truly revolutionary that fans and analysts are left wondering on how the future Nexus 6 can top it.
For the Nexus 6 to be a better device, Google will have to launch it with a new Android system. The Nexus 5 became the launching platform for the Android 4.4 KitKat. Expect the Android 4.5 Lollipop to debut on the Nexus 6.
The last two Nexus smartphones have been based on the LG G series and it had been a massive success. If this is to continue, then the Nexus 6 will be based on the LG G3. This automatically means that this highly anticipated device will feature a 5.5” QHD display and metal casing. Of course, the premium finish is unlikely to feature on the Nexus 6. After all, the device is supposed to be powerful and affordable at the same time.
Other features that are obviously coming to the Nexus 6 are water resistance, dust resistance and even fingerprint scanner. All three features have been trending with other smartphones that Google might pick it up for the Nexus 6.
If all of the above are checked for the smartphone, then expect it to be a much better device than its predecessor. On the other hand, there is a chance for it to be slightly more expansive than the Nexus 5. The only way to find out is through the Nexus 6’s launching that is expected to happen in October this year.
