Some hours ago, we reported that the Nexus 5 has reached its expiry and has been removed from the Google Play Store. Now, there is a strong buzz indicating that Google will be looking to introduce powerful but affordable smartphones to replace the Nexus 5.
The buzz was brewed by a rumour which claims that Google is plotting to launch two new Nexus smartphones later this year where one will be a premium model while the other will be an affordable model.
Some of the rumours even went as far as claiming that the next-gen Nexus 5 will get released first in June this year. The device is said to come with Android 5.1 out of the box, a 5” screen and also a 64-bit processor.
Of course, rumours are still rumours and they are best taken with a grain of salt. As it stands, nobody even knows on how Google will name the next-gen Nexus 5 or whether Motorola will continue at the helm of production.
