The carrier once promised that the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update will be rolled out on April 21 to its Nexus 5 users. However, the update titled KTU84F failed to make an appearance. Sprint claims that there are issues that needed some fixing.
Word has it that the carrier got mixed up with the wrong build number which led to the delay. Nevertheless, the 4.4.3 KitKat will soon be released as there is a growing number of leaks revealing the same firmware coming to the Sony Xperia Z, Nexus 4, 5, 7 and 10.
The HTC One M8 and One M7 under Google Play are also expecting the Android 4.4.3 very soon.
This is one update that is really important to the devices running on KitKat as it will bring in that much needed fix to the bug that has been causing the battery to drain rather rapidly. Other fixes include the Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connectivity, random reboots, USB debugging and VPN problems.
