It is 2014 now and there is still no sign of the Nexus 10 2 materializing. Consumers have been led to believe that there is some sort of confusion with the company that will take the helm of the tablets’ production. Heck, most rumours suggested Samsung to be the one making the Nexus 10 2 as the Korean manufacturer has been releasing quite a number of 12 inch tablets lately.
However, this might be unlikely. A leak has surfaced which suggests Asus to remain at the helm of productions. While the leak is not confirmed and best taken with a pinch of salt, it came from an insider which has a highly successful track record with Nexus tablets.
The lad known as @Rage06 revealed the leak in the form of a screenshot. The image claims that Asus has a 2-years contract with Google. The company was responsible for both Nexus 7 productions and will continue until the end of this year.
It might not be a strong speculation but it is a great platform to unravel the mystery of the Nexus 10 2. The next best bet to dig out more information on the matter will obviously be during Google’s I/O conference happening at the end of June next month.
