It has been disappointing 2013 for the Nexus fans as the highly anticipated Nexus 10 2 missed every rumoured release date. As the hope begins to fade away, a price drop of the old Nexus 10 reignited it.
Popular online retailer, eBay, is now selling the Google Nexus 10 for only $270. It features that same 10” screen which is powered by the Exynos 5 dual that produces 2560x1600p resolution. On top of that, the Nexus 10 is updated with the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS.
On a normal day, a major decrease in the cost of a gadget would mean that the successor is on its way. This explains the overdrive the fans are in. On the other hand, it might not turn out as expected. The Nexus 10 2 might instead be a Nexus 12.
This is hinted following Samsung’s 2014 tablet line-up that mostly comes in 12”. Above that, there is some huge buzz going on which linked Samsung to be at the helm of development for the next huge tablet from Google.
Come to think about it, this seems likely. Samsung has produced the Nexus before and we wouldn’t be surprised if they returned to produce more. Besides, the 10 and 2 turns to a 12 if added together.
While there has yet to be any confirmation to come from this, the Nexus 10 2 is expected to offer a 10.1” screen with 2560xx1600p resolution. There will be an 8MP rear camera and a 2.1MP front shooter. This will all be powered by a 9500mAh battery.
