People waiting to hear news about the Nexus 10 2 have again fallen victim to a hoax when @evleaks posted photos that someone had sent them. This is not the first time that the tablet has been subject to a hoax. Google has not yet confirmed a follow up tablet is on the way, but there has been a lot of talk after the Google Nexus 10 32GB and 16GB went out of stock at the PlayStore.
The hoax came about just a day after the Nexus 10 went out of stock. Google haven’t said anything about when the tablet will come back into stock. The same happened prior to the arrival of the Nexus 5, when the Nexus 4 was out of stock and it happened the year before with the Nexus 7. @evleaks, Pocket Lint and Phandroid all fell victim to the hoax, they then had to make retractions. Rumour was that Samsung would be making the Nexus 10 2nd gen, however earlier it had been said that it would be ASUS or LG behind the tablet. The tipster uploaded photos of the Nexus 10 2014, but it looked the same as the version on the market at the moment.
There was also specs about the tablet released and these said that the Nexus 10 2 would come with a display of 10 inches at 2560 x 1500, have the Exynos 5 processor and 3GB of RAM. We also heard that it may be offered with 16GB and 32GB of internal storage and offer a camera of 5MP and 3MP. @evleaks found out about the hoax when the same piece of information as sent to many websites with just some minor changes having been made to it.
