Go For HTC One Or Await HTC One Mini 2?

Coming from the same one family, the Mini 2 does not differ much in appearance when compared to the original One M8. The only difference spotted is with the size. The One M8 has a display that measures at 5”, which is larger than the 4.5” on the One Mini 2.

There is also a level difference with the display capabilities between both devices. The One M8 offers Full 1080 HD experience whereas the One Mini 2 is stuck at the old 720p.

Obviously, the biggest gap is with the processors of both smartphones. The Mini 2 will never be in the same league with the One M8 as it is powered by the lower end Snapdragon 400, clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB RAM. There will also be a decent 13MP rear camera being added to the Mini 2 as well.

Both smartphones stand on equal footing when it comes to storage space. There is that 16GB internal memory that is expandable to 128GB via SDcard.

Both devices are meant to dominate their respective playing fields. If saving up for the One M8 faces a crisis, best is just to settle with the mid-tier One Mini 2.
