GM have been working hard to make sure they improve the fuel economy of their models and one of their plan to have most of the models come with the stop-start feature.
According to GM, the stop-start feature will help improve the fuel efficiency of the vehicle. It is believed that with the stop-start feature, the fuel economy of the vehicle should improve by 6%.
GM has now announced that most of their models will be fitted with a stop-start option by 2020 and that will include the GMC Acadia as well. The only downside is that with the stop-start option, the price should go up a little. It is estimated that with the stop-start option, the vehicle should cost about $300 more now.
GM is not the only one pushing the stop-start option. Ford also added that 70% of their models will come with the stop-start option by next year.
