If there is a place where gamers can find the best deals when doing their shopping, it is at Gamestop. The company is well-known for selling games at the cheapest possible price, especially during Black Friday.
Well, the latter will be happening in a couple of weeks from now but Gamestop has yet to reveal its promotion ad just yet. Regardless, the company has already teased that this year’s Black Friday deals are going to be huge.
By huge, we’re not expecting 3 or 4 pages worth of ads. Instead, we could be seeing up to 12 pages worth of products listed on promotion. The list will include everything that is related to gaming such as consoles, tablets, smartphones, accessories and more.
For starters, both the subscription for Xbox Live Gold and PS Plus will surely be among the big catch over at Gamestop. Also, the sale is expected to take place at midnight of November 28.
The Xbox One, in particular, will enjoy more price cuts while also coming with more titles bundled to it. Last year alone, Gamestop offered 30% bonus credit for trading in older consoles for the new one. We can look forward to an increase in that percentage, thus, making the Xbox One so much cheaper than it already is.
Not much is known for the PS4 but we can look forward to seeing the $399 promotion for the console with GTA 5 and the Last of Us being offered at Black Friday as well. Heck, Gamestop might also promote the next-gen console by selling away refurbished model to the masses. The latter is expected to come with a cheaper price of about $329.
As for the games, it is pretty obvious that newer titles will see $10 taken off from the price tag. Furthermore, sports titles will come at a flat rate of $39.99. As for those on the older Xbox 360 and PS4, they don’t have to worry as most of the promotion will be on their platform for clearance purposes.
