Fans welcomed the latest in the Nexus line-up, the Nexus 5, some weeks ago and it is in competition with other handsets on the market.
To be able to compare the Nexus 5 with other devices you have to understand just what Google managed to do with the Nexus brand. Nexus handsets are benchmarks for other phone makers to match. The Nexus One came out and it shadowed other devices on the market at the time. With each new device came something new, such as NFC. With the arrival of the Nexus 5 came KitKat 4.4, which brought many features to the handset that others didn’t have.
The Nexus brand is much more than just the operating system that it runs. The Nexus 5 arrived with superb hardware, a good camera and processor. What cannot be beaten by other handsets is the price tag. So can the Nexus 5 compete with the likes of the HTC One, LG G2, Moto X, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Apple iPhone 5S and the Samsung Galaxy S4?
There is no doubt that it has the specs and looks to take on other handsets but it is a handset that you are going to either love or hate, there really isn’t any in-between.
