Thanks to the faster processor, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 performs better while multi tasking. On operating system, the iPad Mini has just got the latest iOS 7 update. The iOS 7 is highly optimized to the iPad Mini and the iPad Mini performs outstandingly on the iOS 7. On the other hand, the Galaxy Note 8.0 runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean which is great in multi tasking.
Both devices have their own pros and cons. Deciding between these two tablets would come up to personal preference and needs. The Samsung Galaxy 8.0 is much better for gaming and multi tasking, the iOS 7 on the iPad Mini however gives users access to endless high quality apps.
