With more and more individuals pursuing a phablet instead of a smartphone, many are indecisive. As such, we have compared both devices and see which one fits you best.
Display-wise, both the Asus Zenfone 6 and the Samsung Galalxy Mega 6.3 are offering the same 1280×720 resolution. On the other hand,, the Zenfone’s screen measures at 6” whereas the Mega is ate 6.3”. As such, the Zenfone scores more ppi.
Under the case, the Asus Zenfone is actually built like a computer. It runs on the Intel Atom Z2580 clocked at 2GHz with 512MB RAM and 8, 16 or 32GB memory option. The Galaxy Mega on the other hand runs on the Snapdragon 400 clocked at 1.7GHz with 1.5GB RAM
The Zenfone sports a more powerful 13MP rear camera. In terms of pixel count, this is 5MP more than that on the Galaxy Mega. There isn’t a big difference with the front facing camera as tZenfone is equipped with a 2MP shooter and the Mega at 1.9MP.
Battery capacity is almost identical on both devices as Asus gave the Zenfone 3300mAh batter whereas Samsung equipped the Mega with a 3200mAh battery.
The winner is obviously the Asus Zenfone 6. It is better in many ways. Heck, it even cost less. At $329.95, you get all the greatness that failed to arrive on the phablet from Samsung.
