It seems that HTC is taking far too long to give the final word on the fate of the One M7 in getting the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. Well, One M7 users can forget about HTC as there is now another way to update the device to the latest OS from Google.
The method is through installing the Liquid Smooth ROM that is available on XDA. A senior developer had just produced the LS ROM and it contains the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS. The special thing about the LS ROM is that is built specifically for the One M7.
Of course, it is important to note that the LS ROM is still in its early build so there will be some issues with it. On the bright side of things, the developer has promised to update the LS ROM accordingly so that it will be free of issues.
HTC One M7 users can head over to XDA to download the LS ROM and the Google Apps Package. There, they will also find a thoroughly detailed guideline on how to install the LS ROM on the device.
