With what the MyFord Touch had to offer, any other infotainment system would have been an upgrade. Luckily, Ford did not just come out with a slightly improve version but a totally new version that is way better than the old MyFord Touch infotainment system.
Called Sync 3, the new Ford Infotainment system was created with the help of Blackberry. Using Blackberry’s QNX system, Ford managed to come out with a new infotainment system that is simple and easy to use, the exact opposite of the MyFord Touch.
The new infotainment system was released on all 2016 Ford and Lincoln model here in the US and Ford has also announce that the new system will be heading to Europe as well to help improve the Ford’s user experience.
The new Sync 3 is not only simple but it also recognizes some of the simple touch screen gestures like pinch to touch and a few swipe motions making it even easier for the users.
