Most people would not be comparing the Ford Mustang GT and the Ford Focus RS but that is exactly what Top Gear has decided to do. Both models were put together to see which is the better drag king. Who do you think won?
The Ford Mustang GT comes in with a 5.0 liter V8 engine that will be offering about 425bhp and 390lb ft of torque. The RWD model will be able to go from 0-62mph in 4.8seconds and has a top speed of 155mph.
The Ford Focus RS, on the other hand, will come in with a 2.3 liter 4 cylinder turbo engine that will be offering about 345bhp and 346lb ft of torque. The 4WD model will need only 4.7 seconds to go from 0-62mph and ha a top speed of 165mph.
Based on the numbers, it looks like the Ford Focus RS might have a slight advantage here but whether that showed on the track or not is a whole other question. Check out the full video by Top Gear below to see who won.
