The Ford F-150 will be recalled after it was reported that there might be some issue with the occupant classification system.
A total of 3683units of the Ford F-150 will be recalled in North America. The affected model will be the Ford F-150 that was made in between the 27th of April and the 22nd of November 2015. The recall will affect models that were fitted with the multi-contour seat.
According to the report, the occupant classification system on the Ford F-150 will identify the passenger in the front as a child if the passenger turns one the massage function. This will, in turn, affect the airbag in a crash which could increase the risk of injury for the front passenger.
