Ford is finally ready to release the Ford Edge SUV in the UK and while we like what Ford has to offer in terms of design, the consumers less far from impressed with many saying that the Ford Edge feels like a model that has stolen everything nice about the other vehicles in the market.
A lot of them pointed out that the Ford Edge SUV feels like a copy of the Mitsubishi Outlander while other said that the bonnet design reminded them of the Land Rover. No matter where they got their design inspiration from, we think the Ford Edge looks great.
Based in the Mondeo, the Ford Edge will come powered by a 2.0 liter TDCI diesel engine that will be delivering about 178bhp. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. There is also the 2.0 liter twin turbo diesel option that will offer about 208bhp with its six-speed auto transmission.
The Zetec trim will come with standard features like heated and cooled front seats, privacy glass, 19inch alloy wheels, Active Noise Cancellation and more.
