A recent market study conducted by Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu, became the talking point among gamers as it revealed that there is more anticipation for Final Fantasy XV than Kingdom Hearts 3.
Both upcoming titles from Square Enix were included in the top 10 most wanted games chart but it is Final Fantasy XV that has found itself at the top of the table. The discovery is a massive shocker for Kingdom Hearts fans as they believe that the Final Fantasy franchise is declining in popularity.
Well, it seems that the fans are wrong and to make things worse for them, Kingdom Hearts 3 sits on the sixth place behind Persona 5.
Then again, it is also worth considering the fact that the study was conducted on the local Japanese gaming industry. If the study was made on a global scale, it might share a different result.
