Well, in reality, there are actually more fans anticipating the former instead of the latter. This is evident after Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu, did a market research and it confirms that there is a greater deal of demand for Final Fantasy XV than Kingdom Hearts 3.
Famitsu’s research was based on Japanese gamers and it simply puts Final Fantasy XV at the top of the most wanted charts. Meanwhile, Kingdom Hearts 3 can be found resting at sixth place behind Persona 5. This particular finding hence confirms that Final Fantasy XV deserve to get produced first, ahead of Kingdom Hearts 3.
Of course, Famitsu didn’t take into account on the global fan base. Then again, that isn’t necessary since Square Enix has the tendency to favour the local market instead of the global market.
