The Google Nexus 5, which was launched back in 2013, has finally been discontinued from production after the tech-giant officially removed the smartphone from the Play Store.
In detail, Google replaced the Nexus 5 ad on the Play Store with a statement which reads “Nexus 5 is no longer for sale”. Also, it is understood that the removal of the Nexus 5 is only for the North America market and other regions are set to follow suit in the coming months.
This is very sad news for every tech lovers as the Nexus 5 is viewed as a revolutionary device from Google. The Nexus 5 will always be remembered as the cheap device that was able to compete with the flagship smartphones from 2013.
