One of the most thrilling gaming franchise is about to see a fourth title added to its line-up. Far Cry 4 is fast in development and is expected to be the first Far Cry title to debut on the next-gen consoles.
Despite the excitement for the game, the hype building up towards Far Cry 4’s release has been somewhat lacklustre. Ubisoft has done a great job in keeping their lips sealed and it has been a silent atmosphere ever since the game developer announced on Far Cry 4.
In spite of that, Kotaku columnist Superannuation has been exposing the cracks. According to iDigitalTimes, Superannuation has been leaking information about Far Cry 4 on the latter’s Twitter account. In a series of tweet, the columnist revealed that Far Cry 4 is basically a Far Cry 3 game set in the Himalayas. In addition to that, the new environment and settings will welcome new monsters and animals into the game.
The keyword here is monsters. Himalayas is the tallest mountain range in the world. If there are to be monsters, it would be the mythological creature known as Yeti. If Superannuation is spot on with his leaks, we may very well see the snow monster in the game.
With the mountainous terrain, plenty of the game’s features have been put to question. One of them is with the hunt. The eco-community on the Himalayan Mountains is not as dense as other parts of the world which might make it dull.
All in all, we are 2014 now and with every passing day, we get closer to Far Cry 4’s release. Looking back at last October, the leaked image about Far Cry 4 cited a date, 4.4.14. We are 2 months away from it and do hope for something big to happen.
