Fallout fans worldwide are sensing that the future sequel, Fallout 4, will be taking place in Boston. Of course this is pending for confirmation by Bethesda and now, a handful of fans are hoping for the game to be set in the Soviet Union.
Apparently, this is because nobody has a clue on what is going on in the great USSR. The fans that raised this idea are also curious on how life is like in USSR’s wasteland. Will communism still be in practice? Or will there be civil war?
Some might argue this point and claim that China will make the better ‘flip side of the coin’ title due to some information on it already spilled. Then again, the fans remain resilient and claim that the USSR plot can be very original and new if it does get produced.
On the other hand, doing so will just disrupt the Fallout series entirely. A Fallout game should not be set outside of the US due to it being the franchise’s formula. Besides, it is the US that has the vault system, thus making it more sense to keep Fallout 4 glued on US soil.
