Just recently, more leaks on Fallout 4 surfaced and it suggests that Bethesda has trademarked the name Fallout: Shadow of Boston. With the buzz on the highly anticipated game soaring to new heights, the game developer was forced out of hiding to address the leak.
Bethesda revealed on their Twitter account that the leak trademark registered is nothing more than a hoax. The game developer added that the leak didn’t come from an insider at all. This is heart-breaking for the fans as they have carried high hopes for Fallout 4.
On the other hand, Bethesda cannot be blamed as the company don’t practice pre-announcing a game. All that the game developer has been doing is keeping the situation calm by rubbishing rumours and speculations that have gone overboard.
This is not the first time there was a hoax on Fallout 4. Just last year, a website called Survivor2299 has managed to convince the fans that the game will be released soon and will be set in Boston.
For the fans, it is best to take the information on Fallout 4 with a pinch of salt. When Bethesda is ready, they will surely unveil more information on the game.
