Fallout 4 Release Date Misread, 1st December & Not 12th Jan?

The Fallout trilogy is one of the most successful titles out there that a fourth sequel deserves to be in the making. Fans are well aware of that fact and have been pleading to Bethesda to create a Fallout 4.

It has been 4 long years now since the last Fallout title got released and it is about time for the game developer to bring out Fallout 4. As of this moment, fans are in for some great news. An email from [email protected] has found its way to the fans’ inbox.

The email appears to be an invitation to a major announcement coming on 12.01.04 over at Bethesda’s website and the game developer’s blog.

The fans are definitely excited over this but didn’t go overboard since they have just recovered from a hoax. However, the email resulted to plenty of debates across the blogosphere. It appears that the Fallout community are not sure if the date stated on the email follows the American format or that of the UK.

Many fans believe that it is following the Day/Month/Year format. This suggests the announcement to be on 12 January 2014. In spite of that, there happens to be a strong sense of uncertainty among the fans.

If Bethesda’s blog is taken into account, the announcement should be on the 1st of December 2014 since the website follows the Month/Date/Year format. This seems much more likely. Besides, 12 January 2014 might be too soon for a big announcement.

Fans have been Tweeting to Bethesda to confirm the content of this email but there has been no response as of yet.
