There is a great deal of hype built towards the release of Fallout 4, even though Bethesda has yet to announce anything on the next sequel from the highly successful Fallout franchise. This is why it was heart-breaking for the fans yesterday upon hearing more teases coming out for Elder Scrolls VI.
The latter will be succeeding Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and there appears to be some sort of confirmation that Elder Scrolls VI will be set in the region of Argonia. While it does sound exciting, Elder Scrolls fan are full of sympathy for the Fallout community as they felt that it is unfair for them to receive a sequel ahead of Fallout 4.
When it comes to Bethesda, the game developer has been bagging tons of profits from both AAA franchises. While Elder Scrolls and Fallout are both RPG series, they are in no way similar to each other.
If the law of time is applied, there is no doubt that Fallout 4 deserves to be released first ahead of Elder Scrolls VI. Then again, Bethesda is not bound by the law of time and it won’t be surprising if they launch Elder Scrolls VI first. This is because the Elder Scrolls franchise is more profitable than the Fallout franchise.
