Even with all the secrecies surrounding Fallout 4, fans are certain that the game’s release is imminent and it will be making its debut on the latest Xbox One and PS4. The Fallout community are also hoping for a breath-taking experience when playing Fallout 4 since the game is going to exhibit top-notch graphics.
Unfortunately, the latter don’t look like happening as Fallout 4 is more likely to feature Elder Scrolls Skyrim’s game engine. The previous title, Fallout 3, was built on Elder Scrolls Oblivion’s game engine and the pattern looks set to follow with Fallout 4.
Of course, Skyrim does look splendid when it was launched back in the days but if played on the latest gaming hardwares, the game will only look decent at best. This is unfortunate for Fallout 4 since many have been hoping for a thoroughly spectacular experience with the game.
As for the idea for Bethesda to produce a new game engine just for Fallout 4, it seems unlikely to happen since doing so will require a large expenditure and a long period of development. This is something both the fans and the game developer wish to avoid as it will only lead to a longer delay in Fallout 4’s development.
With that being said, Fallout 4 is bound to arrive with average graphics and it is best if expectations are kept at this level. After all, a high expectation for the game might lead to more disappointments in the future to come.
