Console gamers waiting for Fallout 4 will be pleased to know that the game will be compatible with mods and it won’t come with any additional charges. This was confirmed by Bethesda on E3 when they revealed that Fallout 4 can be integrated with mods, even when on the console.
The game developer then teased that the Xbox One will be able to support the mods for Fallout 4 and this is welcoming news for gamers on the console from Microsoft. Of course, Bethesda specifically mentioned Xbox One with no word on the Sony PS4.
Is the PS4 not compatible with the mods for Fallout 4? If so, then fans on the platform will definitely be furious by this. Then again, we don’t think it is going to happen that easily due to the large Fallout community on the PS4 console.
Even so, we can’t give any confirmation on this. The only thing we can be certain about is that Fallout 4 is going to be best played on the Xbox One. Only time will tell if the PS4 is going to have support for the mods.
