When it comes to games that involve moral factors there hasn’t been a bad one and the Fallout series from Bethesda hasn’t broken that rule. The game put players on edge and factored in stress as they had to make the right choices.
Of course Fallout is a RPG and some gamers did choose to have a character that was evil. There has been a discussion about this as the Fallout community does agree that a game can be boring if the bad guy is one dimensional.
There has also been talk about improvement that could come with Fallout 4 and one is the gameplay element.
People have pointed out that there are flaws with some of the negative decisions in the Fallout series. Fans have said that evil is too despicable and this can force gamers to be good.
Gamers would like Bethesda to add in more depth to the options for being evil, as many gamers don’t want to be the bad guy to the extreme, while at the same time being too righteous.
An example was given as players finding a child that was lost. They had choices of returning the lost child to the parents and claiming a reward or selling the child for a reward. Maybe there could have been an option to return the child but bargaining for a larger reward.
So the community of Fallout fans has been buzzing and many fans agree on what they would like to see improved. They pointed out that games such as Mass Effect and Star Wars KOTOR should be games that Bethesda can take some hints from, as both are superb for offering gamers choices.
