A hoax website with the name of Survivor2299 made an appearance not too long ago and when it first arrived it fooled a lot of fans of the Fallout community. Now it seems the same thing is happening to those who have played the Dishonoured franchise.
Once again thanks to Bethesda refusing to talk about a game, fans are grabbing hold of every little piece of information about the game and believing that it must be true.
Dishonoured 2 hasn’t been announced by the developer yet but a fan has said they received an email which has the logo of Dishonoured 2, a hashtag link and a date.
Since the email was made known it has gone viral, but the particulars of the sender have been erased, which leads us to think that there is something fishy going on. The text says “Witness the full reveal at E3 2014.” In addition to that, the hashtag reads “#DarknessOfTyvia”.
It is nicely laid out and it does look like the real deal, but when you look back at the joke that was played on the Fallout community you have to think twice about the email.
Bethesda has not said anything about the email. The last time that something like this happened the developer warned people about believing everything they read and told them to wait for the real deal.
