Bad luck is a common occurrence in the gaming industry but none of them are as bad as being a Half Life fan and a Fallout fan. Apparently, both sets of fans are experiencing the worst luck as they got themselves a game developer that is reluctant to communicate with them.
The Fallout fans, in particular, have waited so long for Fallout 4 to get announced. In fact, it has been about 7 years since Fallout 3 got released and Bethesda is still pending to announce on Fallout 4. The only thing that the game developer shared is that they promise to make more Fallout games in the future.
As for the Half Life fans, they have been waiting more than a decade for an announcement on Half Life 3. Valve is really secretive on the highly anticipated title and it does not help with Half Life 2’s plot ending up as a cliff hanger.
Even so, both sets of fans are certain that a sequel of the respective series will get produced eventually. There are already many leaks and speculations indicating that Half Life 3 and Fallout 4 are in development. All that is left is for both Bethesda and Valve to come out and confirm on them.
